As a product designer based in Charlotte, I have spent over seven years honing my skills in user experience and visual design. I have had the privilege of working with amazing organizations, where I have learned to place great value in designing and crafting solutions that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing and desirable.
In my work, I strive to create solutions that are at the confluence of business, technology, and users. I believe that by aligning these three factors, we can create products that truly meet the needs of users while also driving business growth.
As a product designer, my goal is to create solutions that are useful, usable, and desirable. I believe that by doing so, I can help organizations achieve their goals while also improving the lives of their users.
My approach
My approach to design is centered around understanding the needs and behaviors of users. I believe that good design should be intuitive, easy to use, and visually appealing. By taking the time to understand the needs of users, I am able to create solutions that not only meet their needs but also delight them.
I utilize design as a tool to investigate, evaluate, and modify the narrative surrounding products and services. This helps me understand the impact they have on the habits and behaviors of those who use them.
As a leader, I strongly endorse Radical Candor. I practice this method and encourage my team to do the same. I believe in advocating for my team, giving them opportunities to grow, and finding ways for them to showcase their abilities through their work. I also place significant emphasis on product truth and trio-driven planning. If something cannot hold up during my planning sprint, it will not hold up as a product.
As a UX designer and entrepreneur, I have worked on numerous projects with prominent organizations such as CreditCards.com, Bojangles, AT&T, DirectTV, Verizon, Frontier, The Simple Dollar, Boost Mobile, and Bankrate.
When I’m not designing, you can find me playing soccer, spending quality time with my family, training for my next 5K, or drawing.
